You’re On Indigenous Lands. Use This Map To Find Out Which.

Land acknowledgements are more complex than just typing your area into a map and seeing where things used to be but the creators of this tool hope it helps.

You can find out which Indigenous lands you’re on by visiting the website Native Land or downloading the app from the iOS or Android store.

Native Land Digital, an Indigenous-led nonprofit out of Canada, want this map to convey more than just borders. The creators say they hope to improve the relationships of people, Indigenous and non-Indigenous alike, and the sacred land they’re on.
