What is a Spirit Bead?

Whether you’re someone who loves buying beaded items or you’re the one that makes them, you’ve probably heard of the term Spirit Bead. If this is your first time, well, its meaning is pretty cool.

Have you ever been staring at a design or even worse, part way through a project, and noticed a bead that’s not where it’s supposed to be? That’s a Spirit Bead.

There are a few different beliefs out there of where they come from. One being that it’s an intentional placement by the maker to represent that nothing in life is perfect. Another being that it’s Creator sending you a reminder to pay attention to what’s in front of you. Both have a deep and purposeful meaning.

Then there are the ones like me who are just sleep deprived and completely missed it until it was too late. Either way, there’s a reason they’re there.
