A List of 192 Missing Indigenous Persons In New Mexico, Navajo Nation Released by FBI

On Friday, the Albuquerque FBI Division released their updated list of missing Indigenous persons in New Mexico and the Navajo Nation.

The list is a collaborative project that began in July when the FBI and its partners released its initial list of 177 names. The FBI says it hopes this project increases transparency while also urging the families of missing Indigenous persons who are not on the list to reach out to local law enforcement and file an official report. An updated version of the list will be released every month.

The most recent list can be found here.

If you have an Indigenous family member who is missing but is not included in this list, you are urged to contact your local or tribal law enforcement agency and ask them to submit a missing person report to NCIC.

For any further assistance with request, family members or law enforcement can contact the New Mexico Attorney General’s Office or the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI.
